34th Annual Charlotte Turkey Trot
The Charlotte Turkey Trot has been a family tradition for over 30 years and offers 5K, 8K, one-mile, and “Tot Trot” options. Beginning and ending at the South Park Mall, this Turkey Trot is the largest road race in North Carolina, with almost 8,000 runners in 2021. Turkey Dash at the Village at Robinson Farm
Visit the Village at Robinson Farm for their 10th annual Turkey Dash! This event offers one and four-mile options to run or walk, and a designated family area to keep kids entertained while the adults run. Registration is open now, starts at $25 per runner, and includes a complimentary tee shirt!
Lake Norman Turkey Trot
The 16th annual Lake Norman Turkey Trot is back! Starting and finishing at Life Fellowship Church in Cornelius, NC, this event features a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. The half-marathon and 10K are open to runners aged 14 and up, and the 5K is open to all ages. Runners can register here, and registration begins at $40 per runner. Prices will increase so be sure to sign-up today!.
Northwestern Trojan Turkey Trot
The Northwestern Trojan Turkey Trot in Rock Hill, South Carolina is sponsored by Northwestern High School’s Trojan Club and runs through Northwestern High School’s Cross Country course. The 5K registration begins at $30 and closes on October 31st, and is open to all ages. The kid's 1-Mile Fun Run is $5 to enter and registration is open until November 18th for kids 12 and under. Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade
The 76th Annual Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade is on Wednesday, November 23rd beginning at 5:30 PM, and will be broadcasted live on WBTV. The parade route goes along Tryon Street beginning at 9th Street and ending at Good Samaritan Way. Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
If you can't make it to Charlotte’s Thanksgiving Eve Parade, then there is always the classic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
